Before Chllen became a brand, it was a conversation.
The brother and sister, working around the footwear industry, spent over a decade quietly behind the scenes sourcing materials, understanding construction, observing production floors, and learning what truly makes a shoe last. They weren’t building brands then. They were building knowledge.
They saw how footwear is made.
They saw where care is applied and where it is rushed. They understood the difference between something that simply looks good and something that feels right for hours and looks like a dream too.
And slowly, a question began to take shape:Why were women still expected to choose between beauty and comfort?
The Decision to Build Differently
Chllen was born from that question.
It’s name comes from the word Challenge - because this brand exists to challenge the compromise. A challenge to the belief that elegance must come with discomfort.
A challenge to inconsistent quality in a fragmented market. A challenge to building footwear that prioritises shelf appeal over real wear. So we chose to build it ourselves.

For Sagar, footwear was never just a business. It was something he grew into, step by step. Over the past twelve years, he has been deeply immersed in the world of footwear, understanding not just how products are made, but why they matter to the people who wear them.
From working with Indian manufacturers to catering to global markets, Sagar has shaped his approach around one simple belief that every pair should feel right, not just look right. His experience in production has given him an instinct for quality, detail, and consistency, while his entrepreneurial journey has sharpened his understanding of what customers truly seek.
Rajvi Jariwala
Rajvi’s journey didn’t start in fashion — it started in finance. A Chartered Accountant by profession, she began her career at Ernst & Young, building a strong foundation in finance and advisory. She later worked closely with entrepreneurs and high-growth startups, supporting climate tech companies through fundraising for growth Capital and getting a front-row seat to what it takes to build something from 0 to 1.
Watching founders turn ideas into real businesses sparked something in her.
Rajvi always knew she wanted to build something of her own — something thoughtful, creative, and built to last. Today, she brings that same strategic mindset to building this brand, combining entrepreneurial grit with a deep appreciation for design and craft.
Having spent a year in the United States, later living in Dubai, and travelling extensively, her global exposure continues to shape the way she thinks about style, culture, and building for the modern woman.
